Most common metals
There are about sixty materials belonging to the family of metals: chromium, titanium, vanadium, zirconium and so on.
Some of these metals are rarely used and some other almost never.
In total there are only six metals used very frequently:
- Iron whose atomic symbol is Fe
- Copper whose atomic symbol is Cu
- Zinc whose atomic symbol is Zn
- Aluminium whose atomic symbol is Al
- Gold whose atomic symbol is Au
- Silver whose atomic symbol is Ag
